The Heart Behind the Name
LVE Physio is a boutique women’s & pelvic health physiotherapy service providing evidence based care to all women throughout various stages of life. Founded by Julia Raptis, a Port Melbourne mum and an experienced pelvic health physiotherapist passionate about empowering women.
LVE stands for Lynette Victoria Esposito, Julia’s cherished mum, who passed away unexpectedly, a reminder of how uniquely women can experience and present with health concerns.
Shaped by Julia’s own complex journey to motherhood including experiences with stillbirth, birth trauma, high-risk pregnancies and premature birth, Julia created LVE Physio to be a space where women feel safe, supported, and truly understood regardless of their journey.
Julia has worked in several of Melbourne’s leading women’s health clinics, gaining valuable experience under the guidance of senior mentors. She remains dedicated to ongoing professional development to provide the highest standard of care. Her assessments are tailored to each woman’s needs, including invasive and non-invasive options such as real-time ultrasound imaging.
All of Julia’s equipment is fully portable, allowing her to provide high-quality appointments both in the clinic and in the comfort of your home.
